Galloway Cycling Holidays specialises in the routes and tracks of Dumfries and Galloway which is located in the South West of Scotland, at the Border with England. There are hundreds of miles of quiet roads to explore stretching from the coast up into the Galloway Highlands. The perfect place for all abilities and skill levels to ride bikes both on and off road which makes it the best cycling destination in the UK to explore.

Galloway Forest Park at 300sq miles is the biggest forest in the UK. A perfect playground for Gravel cycling and exploring the wilder parts of the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere. You are going to LOVE it here!

There was a point where changing gears became vague. Fingers too numb to feel the shifters. But these are the days you will remember and are glad you got out. This view across Silver Flowe is on the Gralloch Ultra route, seen first across Loch Dee -

Well I only ticked off just shy of 5,000 miles in 2025. It felt like many more than that, and I could round it up a bit more as I do not always use the Garmin. But we had so much fun and did amazing things and I still love bicycles.
